Tony Hawk’s legendary skateboard just sold for a record-breaking $1.15 million

Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk says he hopes the person who paid a record-breaking amount for his historic board from the 1999 X-Games is 'someone who truly appreciates it', and some of the proceeds will go towards Hawk's nonprofit foundation.
