Tax-free rent limit under review as Government considers raising €14,000 threshold for modular garden homes

Homeowners are in line to earn up to €14,000 a year tax-free by renting out newly built modular units in their back gardens under new planning exemption rules that are expected to be brought to Cabinet today.
