Jeeno Thitikul, battling wrist injury, closes in on player of the year; Somi Lee leads LPGA finale

World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul took a big step Thursday towards winning LPGA player of the year, shooting 67 to sit three off the opening-round lead at the CME Group Tour Championship.
